Our story

Emma, with over 25 years' of experience in operations, project management, business support, media, and marketing across various industries, including publishing, coaching, professional services, non-profits, consulting, TV, and digital, is a highly motivated and hardworking self-starter. As a former director aptly described her, “She truly makes things happen.”
 
Emma’s diverse background, having worked at both start-ups and large corporations such as WPP, BBC, and IPG, has provided her with a wealth of experience in managing day-to-day operations. She thrives on challenges and excels as an exceptional multi-tasker, possessing remarkable organizational, administrative, relationship, and communication skills.
 
Toby, with over 25 years' of experience in IT operations and sales, has collaborated with Fortune 500 Accounts and Education organizations, as well as channel and other strategic solution partners. As a trusted advisor, he has guided the entire business transformation and platform adoption. Toby has effectively implemented partner technical enablement strategies through sales and technical programs, engaging in pre-sales readiness initiatives, joint field activities, and sharing best practices. He consistently developed plans to drive double-digit growth in multibillion-dollar businesses. Toby’s true passion has always been small business, where he has assisted hundreds of businesses in their growth.
 
Together they have worked for organizations globally, including in Zurich, Sydney, London, and San Francisco. Emma started her Executive Virtual Assistance business in 2009, and now Toby and Emma are combining their skills and expertise to help small businesses and entrepreneurs set up and scale their businesses.
 
Emma and Toby are now located in Lake Tahoe with their Bernese Mountain Dog, Rumble. Having first visited over 20 years ago, they are proud to be part of the local community and all that it has to offer.
